Introducing the Parallel Pen with Italic Letters

We are happy to tell you about the exciting program member, Eugenia Uhl, has in store for us in October.
Eugenia will present the Parallel Pen and demonstrate the Italic alphabet.  We will begin by using our pencils to draw the Italic letters. Working intuitively, we will move on to a felt tip pen, perfecting our layout and design. Then Eugenia will introduce the Parallel Pen, a cartridge/fountain pen.  She will show you the variety of ways to fill it, clean it and use it.  We will then use our Parallel Pens to write out and finish our piece.  Whether you are a beginner or advanced, all skill levels are welcome.

2.4 Parallel Pen (unopened if new) Some will available for sale

ink cartridges for Parallel Pen (wait to put together if new)

grid paper

ruler, pencils & eraser

kneaded eraser

2 sheets of “better” paper

felt tip marker, about a 1.0, black or any color

Optional:  any other size Parallel Pens
