The 2013 January Meeting

will be held at the East Bank Regional Library.

Meeting time: 10:00am – 1:00pm

Fe Laughlin will give a demonstration of several handmade envelopes for mailing or for gift cards.  Some finished envelopes will be displayed along with templates to copy.

Roxanne Beard will show and describe examples of completed paper treatments that can be used for envelopes or calligraphy projects.  She will then demonstrate one of the techniques.

Scribe and Describe

Bring samples of envelopes that you have created for the ‘Graceful Envelope Contest’ or have previously addressed and/or decorated.

Materials List

Pencil

Scissors

Glue Stick

Paper–such as card stock, construction paper, heavy gift wrap,

manila folder, resume paper, grocery bag, etc

Note Pad

If you would like to try addressing or decorating some of your envelopes, you may also bring colored pencils, pens with black or colored inks, crayons, etc.
