Holiday Workshop and Card Exchange
Saturday December 7, 2024
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Loyola University
6363 St. Charles Avenue
Monroe Hall, room 507
The Holiday season is fast approaching and how better to prepare for the coming festivities than with a workshop featuring ornaments and a card exhange.
Troy Brooks will teach us how to make these whimsical paper orbs. Come prepared to fold and decorate to your heart’s content. Paper will be provided but if you would like to experiment with your own decorative papers, feel free to bring them. Paper that is sturdy enough to take a score and maintain a fold works best.
Patti Adams will demonstrate flourished ornaments like these made by Ana Marie Schmit. They can be used to decorate your tree or send as cards. All it takes is your favorite pointed pen, some metallic ink and your imagination. Paper and ribbons will be provided.
After we have had fun creating, we will exchange holiday cards. So bring one of your handmade cards to share.
