Bold and Blended: Chunky Roman Caps with Belgian Bister Inks with Amity Parks

This two-day workshop will explore a broad edged pen version of a chunky Roman capital alphabet. This fun, bold hand has a more casual and contemporary look than its more formal cousins and creates lovely textures and white spaces. We’ll practice pen manipulation for dynamic stroke transitions, explore color blending with a powdered ink from Belgium called Bister for gorgeous, transparent color effects, and finish with graphite effects to make the letters stand out.
